Nancy Lucks Nancy Lucks is a contemporary artist. Her love of nature is reflected in her paintings and sculptures. She enjoys working in many mediums. She paints mainly in acrylics, their fluid flexibility enabling her to create a vividness and drama in her hauntingly beautiful seascapes and landscapes. Her careful observation of animal life brings a breathtaking reality to her many sculptures. She enjoys working and experimenting with different mediums and has developed many innovative techniques using kiln fired clay, polymer clay and hydrostone plaster, which adds to the interest of her pieces.

She began drawing as a toddler, and started painting in oils at the age of 9. When she was 15 she was the youngest ever to have a “One Man” show at the Southern Hotel in Columbus, Ohio.

Nancy majored in Fine Arts at Otterbein College in Ohio and Industrial Design at the Columbus College of Art and Design. She completed her studies in New York where she graduated from New York School of Interior Design. As an Interior Designer Nancy continued showing and selling her art work.
